Edwin Ospina plays guitar and Colombian bagpipes (flutes), composes, arranges and teaches. He studies integrative Gestalt therapy and Vibroacoustics. He worked with Comadre Aranha, La Revuelta, Mina Gonzales Leonor and Ines Granja.
He composes music for documentaries like El Pulso Del Rio (Colombian-Brazilian production) and Abnormal (production of Spain, Colombia and Senegal). His creative work on the soundtrack to the film Love in Time of Cholera (recorded in São Paulo and directed by Antonio Pinto) promotes him as co-author of some of the compositions. He made arrangements in the recording production La Negra Grande Es Colombia, by the artist Leonor Gonzales Mina.
His research on music and culture in Brazil put him as a teacher at U. Javeriana, IBRACO (Instituto de Cultura Brasil / Colombia) and Fernando Sor Music School. Winner of the 1st place at the Petronio Álvarez Festival (free category). Jury of the competitions IDARTES 2012, in the category world music. He is musical director of the Sacred in the Body project.
